This is one of my favorite wedding guestbook that I made on April (-_-)

Yeah, you're right! I shouldn't keep all these pictures in my folder and silence. My bad.

Anyway, let's enjoy the pictures!

I think turquoise are really popular and trending nowadays. Turquoise papers, flowers, fabrics, ribbons, threads, zippers, buttons and even pearls are no longer hard to find. There's bunch of everything turquoise in store! I personally love how it looks with the purple ribbon bound through the book.

I use my favorite paper roses in cream for the book. I really need something bright and wide to be the stars of the book, so the medium size roses would be a big help. Plus, I also add a black paper butterfly on top of the roses, and a bug on top of the love-shaped tags.

Adorable Anniversary Wish for Deary!

Assalamualaikum and Good Day,

Congratulations to all married couple in the world, especially for those who's celebrating anniversary!

This is another trishutter card that I made last month, a PINK PURPLE theme card, with mixed flowers this time. Unlike handmade paper flowers, artificial flowers are sold everywhere and they're a bit more easy to handle. So it is LESS SPECIAL than a paper-made flowers, I guess.

Alhamdulillah, this is actually my FIRST try on 'bigger' paper roses. YES, they're bigger than paper roses I've made before. It took almost 5 months for me to study on these paper roses. I start with asking people, watching videos, read, staring at those pictures of high class paper roses, plus a lot of imagination, yes! It takes a lot of TIME and EFFORT.

Even when I finally found the right ways on how to make it real, still, the rose is just too tricky for me to start. It's a TRICKY rose, but yet very PRETTY and I love it. So I fall for it again. They are not yet perfect but I believe that imperfection makes them special. "Perfection is BORING" by the way (^,~)

These sweet couple in the pictures are my friend, Lily and her husband. They had their 2nd anniversary last month and they're expecting for their first child now. Bundle of JOY is on the way (^__^)

I really like the center part of the card. The idea of placing a blank card there was to give nice space for her to write speech or love notes for her husband. I used Belinda's Border stamp set from Lawn Fawn to create the love lines at the bottom of the card. I also use the same love lines for the other section of the card, to relate and to balance well.

I used several pictures of them to match up with the card and decorations, but I can't really decide which one fits best, since I really want my lovely blank card to stick onto the center, plus, all those pictures are really nice. So I think it's best to let my friend do her part of choosing which suits them best (^___^)

EASEL Card: Anniversary WISH

Assalamualaikum w.b.t and happy Tuesday,

A special card suits a special occasion, a special feeling and a special mate too. I'm sharing one of my FAVORITE card which is called EASEL card. It is a card with a build in easel and is an popular alternative to traditional handmade greeting cards. Sometimes it makes a fun change to create a card that is a little bit different.

A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.

As card makers work more creative, customers always look for special made card. New base card shapes are always appearing on the scene and are particularly fashionable now.

This card was a surprise from a wife to her husband on their 5th anniversary. It is a special celebration, so I think roses are the PERFECT flowers to cherish one that you loved. I cut papers manually (I mean with a knife, pencil and ruler) for the roses and leaves. So, they were seriously SPECIAL made (^_^)

The best part of an easel card is that it stands still, so you can display it on table or anywhere flat. It can be folded back for storage and as a keepsake of good memory (^,~)

Love is one long sweet dream, and marriage is the alarm clock.

It's a wedding fever!

Assalamualaikum and Selamat Hari Raya everyone!

It's 7 Syawal 1433H and everyone is excited about celebrating Eid Al-Fitr. People wear new clothes, enjoy favourite foods and cookies, visit relatives and friends, enjoy fire crackers and also enjoy their duit raya (some money given by elders to children as reward of fasting for a month).

In celebrating hari raya, there are also couples who take this opportunity to hold a wedding ceremony. It’s like an add-on celebration to hari raya and all relatives and friends take part to tone up their feast. Everything is prepared together and happiness blossoms in faces of brides and grooms.

It's your Wedding Day,

So perfect and fine,

With all your friends around you,

To have a good time,

And we wish you much happiness,

Starting your lives as one,

Always give love to each other,

With lots of laughter and fun.

This is also a great chance for me when my friends do make orders of quilling cards with wedding wishes. I'm very glad that my cards are finally accepted and I pray that my business on handmade cards will grow faster than I thought (",)

I feel lucky enough when I find the purple floral pattern paper to match with the purple-pink flower, perfect to make the card look more natural, special designed for my friend, Azilah, as she wished to surprise her friends with pink-purple and lemon rose themed card. 

   
Lemon rose - themed card. This is my latest design for wedding wishes card. I just love the stripy background of the card. This is actually my first try on husking flowers and leaves. Special made for raja sehari (bride of the day).
